Tule Elk

Wildland Hunting Co. offers exclusive tule elk hunting experiences for hunters who have successfully drawn one of the rare tags in the La Panza Unit, Central Coast Unit, or Gabilan Unit. Our hunts take place on private lands, ensuring prime opportunities to harvest trophy-class bulls(typically scoring between 285” and 330”). We provide a 5-day schedule for bull hunts to maximize your chances of harvesting a mature bull, and 3-day cow hunts, all tule elk hunts are “full package” experiences that include lodging and meals. With our expert guides, deep knowledge of the regions, and commitment to sustainable hunting practices, we support hunters every step of the way. Whether you're an experienced hunter or new to elk hunting, Wildland Hunting Co. is dedicated to delivering a successful and memorable adventure.

Tule Elk Hunt

If you are a fortunate tag holder, please contact us to discuss pricing, which can be tailored to your specific tag unit. We are eager to build a once-in-a-lifetime hunting excursion for you that not only meets but exceeds your expectations!

 

Specifics:

● Opportunity of shot

● 3 or 5 day hunts including lodging and meals

● Tule elk packages offered in La panza, Central Coast, and Gabilan units

● Field dressing and skinning of animal

● Snacks and drinks in the field

*Add a Ride Along guest to the “full package” experience(meals and lodging) for $600 per day

*Wounded animal policy (if an animal is hit and not recovered it will count as your hunt).

Hunting Schedule

Each hunting day begins a half hour before legal shooting light, allowing you to optimize your chances at first light. We'll take a break for lunch, offer strategy discussions, and return back to the field in the late afternoon for additional opportunities. Hunters can expect the thrilling experience of seeing 10 to 50 elk per herd, creating unforgettable encounters in the wild.

● Valid California hunting license

● La panza, Central coast, or Gabalin tag

● Binoculars

● Rifle or archery Equipment

● Non lead ammunition if using a rifle

● Good hiking boots

● Warm hunting clothes
