Predator and Varmint
Wildland Hunting co. offers a year round availability for thrilling experiences pursing predators and varmints on all of our leases on the central coast. Varmint hunts offer endless shooting opportunites to hone in on your marksmanship while indulging in the beautiful countryside. The predator hunts are full of action using calling methods as well as run and gun methods. Wildland Hunting co. guides love the challenge of outsmarting predators with top of the line equipment for an unforgettable adventure. We recommend bringing a shotgun and or a rifle as we have perfected the art of calling these predators in up close and personal for an electrifying encounter.
Predator and Varmint Hunt
$1,100 single hunter per day
$500 (2-10 hunters) per day
Specifics:
● Guided per day hunt on private land
● Season is year round
● Beginner to seasoned hunter
● Opportunity of shot
● Field dressing and skinning of animal
● Snacks and drinks in the field
*Ride Along guests will be an additional $200 per day (unless they are under the age of 16)
*Wounded animal policy (if an animal is hit and not recovered it will count as your hunt).
"Full Package"
Predator and Varmint Hunt
$1500 per hunter
Specifics:
● Two full days of Predator and Varmint Hunting
● 2 Nights of lodging and meals
● Season is year round
● Beginner to seasoned hunter
● Opportunity of shot
● Field dressing and skinning of animal
● Snacks and drinks in the field
*Add a Ride Along guest to the “full package” experience (meals and lodging) for $600 per day
*Wounded animal policy (if an animal is hit and not recovered it will count as your hunt).
Hunting Schedule
Wildland Hunting co. will travel between many leases for the predator and varmint hunts, stopping at prime shooting or calling locations many times through out the ranchs resulting in multiple stands. These hunts be scheduled on a per day basis for as many days as perferred. Predator or varmint hunts can be booked year round but we find to have most success hunting Predators, mainly coyotes, bewteen November and May. For the small game typically February to September.
What to Bring
● Valid California Hunting license
● Rifle .17 caliber to .223 for small game or .22-250 to .270 for predators
● Shotgun(optional)
● Non lead ammunition for Rifle and Shotgun(#4 buckshot being the best or special coyote load)
● Binoculars
● Good hiking boots
● Warm hunting clothes
