Blacktail Deer Hunt
Wildland Hunting co. offers a first class experience hunting the elusive Blacktail Deer on the Central coast of California. Our guides go to great lengths scouting and preparing for deer season to ensure an unforgettable trip for our guests. We operate these huntson exclusive large multi thousand acre ranches in San Luis Obispo and Monterey counties. These beautiful ranches consist of many different terrains including low rolling grasslands with sparse oaks, to steep beautiful high country including diverse vegetation and landscape with spectacular views. Being that wine grapes are our leading agriculture crop and a place where deer populations tend to thrive, Wildland Hunting co. also offers deer hunts in these beautiful Paso Robles vineyards for the true central coast experience! Guests can expect to see 5-20 bucks a day and a guaranteed shooting opportunity. This is a hunt that will host beginner hunters to the advanced levels and all levels of fitness.
Trophy Buck Hunt
$6,500
Specifics:
● Typical trophy buck at least 20 in. wide with at least 3 points on each side
● Field dressing and skinning of animal
● Transportation to and from the field
● Snacks and drinks included in the field
● 5 Day trophy hunt
*Ride Along guests will be an additional $200 per day (unless they are under the age of
16)
*Wounded animal policy (if an animal is hit and not recovered it will count as your hunt).
Management Buck Hunt
$4,000 per hunter
Specifics:
● Typically not exceeding 18 in. wide or more than three on one side
● Field dressing and skinning of animal
● Transportation to and from field
● Snacks and drinks included in the field
● 2 Day management hunt
*Ride Along guests will be an additional $200 per day (unless they are under the age of
16)
*Wounded animal policy (if an animal is hit and not recovered it will count as your hunt).
"Full Package" Trophy Buck Hunt
$8,500
Specifics:
● Five days of Lodging and Meals
● Typical trophy buck at least 20 in. wide with at least 3 points on each side
● Field dressing and skinning of animal
● Transportation to and from the field
● Snacks and drinks included in the field
● Five day trophy hunt

"Full Package" Wild Pig Hunt
$4,800 per hunter
Specifics:
● 2 Days lodging
● 2 days of meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
● One Management buck typically not exceeding 18 in. wide or more than three on one side
● Field dressing and skinning of animal
● Transportation to and from the field
● Snacks and drinks included in the field
● 2 Day management hunt

Hunting Schedule
Our hunts are conducted in California's southern A zone deer unit where the archery season starts the second saturday of July running for 23 consecutive days and our rifle season starts the second saturday of August running for 45 consecutive days. The A zone tags are “over the counter”.These Blacktail hunts are typically run on a two day schedule for the management deer hunts and five days for the trophy hunts. Guests can expect to be in the field a half hour before sunrise hunting until mid morning, taking a break for lunch and then returning back into the field for the evening hunt. Depending on the ranches topography and vegetation also taking into consideration the choice of
weapon we will use spot and stalk methods as well as ground blinds.
What to Bring
● Valid California hunting license
● Valid California A-Zone deer tag
● Binoculars
● Rifle or Archery Equipment
● Non lead ammunition if using a rifle
● Good hiking boots
● Warm hunting clothes
